WHERE YOUR CAPABILITY FITS
Apex Europe is organised around seven operational problems set by European and NATO commands. Not all of them are equally demonstrable at an outdoor London venue. The table below shows where the Live Demo is the right fit.
| Mission Set |
Demo Fit |
Example Capability Types |
| A — Uncrewed Systems Interoperability |
HIGH |
UGVs, autonomous ground platforms, multi-system C2 displays, UAS* |
| B — Autonomous Warfare at Scale |
HIGH |
Autonomous ground/air platforms, swarm coordination, human-machine interface |
| E — Counter-UxS (low-cost threats) |
HIGH |
Passive C-UAS detection, RF/optical tracking, drone catch / net systems |
| G — Denied, Degraded & Contested |
MEDIUM |
Passive EW sensing, comms resilience, spectrum management, cyber defence |
| F — Layered Air & Missile Defence |
MEDIUM |
Passive radar/sensors, IAMD software, C2 integration displays |
| C — Deep Precision Effects |
LOWER |
Targeting and ISR software, sensor suites (no kinetic / launch) |
| D — Countering Undersea Threats |
LOWER |
Topside sensor & detection systems, sonar data displays, subsea monitoring software |
* UAS flight is permitted subject to CAA Non-Standard Flight approval, Operational Authorisation and £10m public liability insurance. Active RF, radar, EW and high-power comms demonstrations are case-by-case and require advance approval. Full technical parameters are issued in the onboarding briefing pack.
